On tap at Honolulu Beer Works, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is dry and toasty in the malt department, with some dry bready crusts. Flavour is somewhat tangy (like an oyster stout) with toasted malt and dry crusty bread. Weak, flimsy malt base but clean enough. It's alright.

On tap at Honolulu Beer Works, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some dank, herbal hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has a strange, herbal hop character, some sweaty notes, and bready malt. Not the greatest hop expression—too much BO—finishing bitter. Not great.

On tap at Honolulu Beer Works, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals bitter piney hops, earthiness, and bready malt. Flavour is somewhat bitter, with earthy hops, some pine cones, and bitter citrus zest. Not balanced or constructed well. Weak.

On tap at Honolulu Beerworks, pours a hazy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals very subdued in the hop department, with soft earthy notes and bready malt. The hops aren't dialed in well. Not a terrible beer but this isn't made right.

On tap at Honolulu Beer Works, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma reveals dry cocoa and earthy notes. Flavour doesn't really reveal much cocoa, just a lot of earthiness. Obscured and not really dialled in well. Strange idea, not good execution.
