Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma has a fair bit of oxidation, brings with it a fair bit of fruitiness, beef jerky, that mushroom beef jerky from Trader Joe's. Yeah, super oxidized deep fruits, soy sauce, cheese, burnt roast, that sort of thing.

Dec 2025 rating: 650mL bottle, pours jet black with a large tan head. Aroma is sludgy, with roasted malt, earthiness, and dry fudgy cocoa. Flavour is dry, with medium roast, earthiness, and dry cocoa. A bit too sludgy and earthy. Not bad but pretty amateur. Much better than the earlier infected bottle I had 6 years ago. 5.9/10

Dark fruit and purple plums. Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Dark fruit and nice prune notes. Long finish, pretty decent.

Dark amber. Just a thin head. Has a fair bit of alcohol on the nose, some toffee, and a tart fruitiness on the palate. It's not all that quad-based. A little phenolic, not the greatest yeast character.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of dark dried fruits, Belgian yeast, and some candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark dried fruits, plenty of alcohol, Belgian yeast, and some candied sugar. Rather boozy, somewhat estery, but everything is contained. Pretty solid.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral undertones of tropical notes with some citrusy notes is enjoyable. Taste is good mix of tropical undertones notes, some citrusy notes with light residual sugar notes and malt notes also apparent. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable APA with nice Nelson Sauvin notes but still think more flavours could have been extracted from the hops.

750ml bottle at Brian's. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is bretts and fruits. Taste is similar. It's pretty good.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with brett, some oak, and a tart, stone, juicy fruit. Flavour is quite juicy, with stone fruits, brett, earthy notes, and light oak. Earthy, funky, and musty. Solid.
