Description
Tatamagouche's very own organic craft brewery!

Many years ago, a two-headed calf came to Tatamagouche. We think it's no coincidence that he happened to show up here. After all, Tatamagouche is a place of many strange and wonderful things. It's a little town with big ideas. A town that's always looking forward while still keeping an eye on the past. This two-headed place is our home and it inspired us to make good beer for good people. Beer that just happens to be a mix of the traditional and the unexpected.

We are the Tatamagouche Brewing Company.
Let's raise a glass to Pure Tatamagoodness.

47,3 cl can @ Timo A’s Maritimes Tasting. Thanks!
Aroma is quite mild with some cereal-like malt and fruits. Flavour has somewhat harsh hops with bush leaves, gooseberry bush, some grapefruit and plastic. Harsh and musty, not good.

Can: Poured a clear light orangey color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of fresh tropical fruit and floral citrusy notes is quite nice. Taste is a solid mix of floral citrusy hops notes with some tropical fruit notes, light residuals sugar and some low bitterness. Body is light with OK carbonation. Solid SIPA with great use of Mosaic hops.

Bottle: Poured a bright orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some light grapefruit notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also an excellent mix of citrusy notes with some grapefruit flavours and light residual sugar notes with limited bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed IPA which could slightly eb improved with more focus on floral hops.

Bottle: Poured a dark dirty amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some minor lacing notes. Aroma of light rum notes with some caramelized malt notes is not bad. Taste is a mix of caramelized malt notes with some light residual sugar notes and some rum barrel notes. Body is thin with OK carbonation and light warming alcohol. I could have swear this was a BA scotch ale since I could barely find any hops or roasted malt notes. Boyd was too thin for such a big beer.

Can - Mandarin and candy sweetness. Hazy gold with a decent white head. The same Mandarin with a bit of pith, very dry finish. Decent.

Amber and yeasty, with way too much head. There’s a bit of mushroomy note, has a mellow earthy hop note. Similar palate - more earthy hop notes. The malts are pretty good, balanced nicely, though the bitterness is a bit light. The hops don’t show through too much in the finish, which is a bit of a shame, but there does seem to be a sense of balance here.

On tap at Nofthumberland Links. Pours a clear amber gold with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of pine with grass supporting and a backbone of grains and biscuit. Flavor has bitter pine supported by resin and a grain backbone.
