Description
Tatamagouche's very own organic craft brewery!
Many years ago, a two-headed calf came to Tatamagouche. We think it's no coincidence that he happened to show up here. After all, Tatamagouche is a place of many strange and wonderful things. It's a little town with big ideas. A town that's always looking forward while still keeping an eye on the past. This two-headed place is our home and it inspired us to make good beer for good people. Beer that just happens to be a mix of the traditional and the unexpected.
We are the Tatamagouche Brewing Company.
Let's raise a glass to Pure Tatamagoodness.

Last of the 4 brews I purchased at the brewery on my trip to Nova Scotia. All organically brewed. All good so far. Pours a lightly hazy golden colour with a big frothy-creamy warm cap, great retention and nice lacing. Smells like a nice fresh IPA. The taste starts off grainy but some nice citrus bitterness kicks in a bit in the middle and the grapefruit zest lasts a decent long time. Again, a very nicely brewed session IPA and wish I could try more of their beers. Congrats Tatamagouche Brewing !

Purchased at the brewery on my trip to Nova Scotia and drinking it fresh. This is the one they were serving as a sample when we got there. Pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a white foamy cap, decent retention and lots of dirty lace. Grainy smell, mildly balanced in the taste with the light hops. Goes down pretty well and their go-to beer.

Purchased a can at the brewery on our trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a hazy rich amber colour with a foamy-creamy off-white head, good retention and nice soapy lacing. Beautiful nutty notes with fruitiness, coffee and soft hops. The nuttiness is blended with butterness and light dark grain. Nice light bitterness lingering creating some dryness. Another great brew from this brewery.

Purchased at the brewery on our trip to Nova Scotia. Pours a hazy golden colour with a warm soapy cap that stays around a while and gives patchy foamy lacing. Fruity nose with some good grain and spicy hops in the background. The bitterness of the hop is excellent for a Pale Ale over the grainy malt with adds its fruitiness. Quite an awesome product and was glad to see the signs for this as we got closer. Worth the stop.

Keg at Stubborn Goat. It pours deep hazy red with a decent white head. The nose is soft, sweet, strawberry ice cream, icing sugar and candy. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, toasty, grassy, red berry, earthy, cereal, pine, resin and mild alcohol warmth with a short, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit messy. Not sure with this one.
