Can from Tesco, Reading. Deep gold with a white head and a tad too much fizz for my liking. Smells sweetish, and indeed caramel id to the fore in the taste. Pine cones through, with a little gingery spice. A rather grubby, cardboardy bitterness finishes it off. The hops feel a bit old in this one, and frankly I didn't particularly enjoy it. Not one of Buxton's finer moments I'm afraid.

A hazy and light yellow beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has fruitness of citrus, lime, also some sweeter fruitness. Taste has lime, some grain in the body. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Nose is mixed tropicana, pineapple, coconut shavings.
Taste comprises pina colada tones, sweet edged, candied fruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge.
Inoffensive sour if coming over a touch sweet and lacking any real depth for 8% ... Mr H beer though for me!
