On tap @ IBF Pub Edition, Milano. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello di schiuma è a bollicine grandi. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. L’amaro è moderato. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva.

Il cappello di schiuma a bollicine fini produce merletti. La sottostante frizzantezza è data da bollicine fini a bassa carbonazione. La densità del liquido è opalescente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è ponderosamente strutturato. L’amaro è deciso. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate.

I sentori al naso sono di luppolo, frutta secca, agrumato, resinoso e floreale intenso. L’intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è considerevole. Il cappello è di schiuma compatta, cremosa, abbondante, a bollicine medie e pizzo al finale. Il colore del liquido è marrone chiaro. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in equilibrio con l’amaro medio. Si sente anche un po’ di umami. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono lunghe. Il finale è felpato, amarognolo, lungo, pulito e dissetante. Il retrogusto è intenso. C’è equilibrio tra malto dolce e luppolo amaro. In bocca arrivano tostato, frutta secca, agrumi.

Slightly hazy orange beer, creamy irregular yellowish head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of exotic fruits, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, citrus, soft bitterness, peaches, bit sweet. Aftertaste: kiwi, grapefruit, little grassy, very fruity, citrus, soft bitterness, some peaches, very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden orange, medium creamy off white head, sale to dissipate, nice lacing. Aroma is Citrus, dank, passionfruit. Flavor is very light sweet, light plus bitter, dank, herbal, pot, cat piss, grain. Medium body, high carbonation.

25cl pour at Mastro in Trieste. Pours a murky yellow with some fluffy, white head. Nose has a lot of brine, mineral water, some lemon rind, wheat chaff. Flavor is a little crazy, lots of green olive, some oyster liquor, lemon, straw. Salty finish.

6th Feb 2015: large sample poured by the brewer at the 3rd Annual Beer Exchange in De Bierboom (Brugge). Mostly Belgians, Brits and Italians: a great night. Hazy amber pour with a solid white topping. The Sterling and Citra hops ensured the brew had a floral and citrus aroma and flavour. Whatever malts used hid away in the background and prevented the beer becoming too bitter or overly hoppy: easy drinking blend and a great first beer of the evening.

6th Feb 2015. Large sample from a bottle, poured by the brewer himself at De Bierboom (Brugge) during a bottle exchange evening. Nice dark reddy brown body with a beige, creamy head. Malty nose and initial taste, roasted, toasted maltiness with a slight hop bitterness in the finish. Nice!
