GABF 2013. Pours a fairly clear dark orange appearance with a khaki head. Really nice spicy hoppy, a touch dank, citrusy aroma. Grapefruit, lemon, orange, pineapple, juicy hoppy flavor with a nice malt backbone while still being fairly dry. Would drink again.

GABF 2013. Pours a golden yellow appearance with a white head. Kind of corn-ridden, herbal aroma. Tangy, herbal/grassy, a touch floral, light corn flavor. Kind of disappointing but at the same time, I hadn’t had any lagers from Fitgers before, so I guess this isn’t a big surprise.

GABF 2013. Pours a deep brown appearance with a thin brown head. Creamy, coffee, dark chocolate, oaty aroma. Milk, dark chocolate, espresso, a touch fruity flavor with a bit of lingering bitterness. This one was very nice. Would love to drink again.

GABF 2013. Pours an orange appearance with an off white head. A fair amount of butter in the nose along with some brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruity notes. Flavor wasn’t a whole lot better with more diacetyl along with some berry notes and a fair amount of booze. Fitgers has become one of my must-visits for GABF but this one was a big disappointment.

Sampled at RBSG. From notes. Loads of raspberry with a very good dose of funk.

All Pints North 2013. Dry. Lager yeast and pilsner malt aroma with some hops, but it doesn’t reach the flavor of a Czech pilsner. Not a bad summer beer.

All Pints North 2013. This one is not so good. Dry overall, which I partially attribute to the alcohol. Very light spice, that I might only be picking up because I am looking for it. Overall lacking flavorand aroma.

All Pints North 2013. Red color. Real raspberry in the flavor and aroma, and sweet wheat. A good fruit beer.

All Pints North 2013. Like Jeff, I was looking forward to this but it didn’t get to the level i hoped. Lightly sour and cloudy yellow. Some wheat, salt, and a dry finish.
