Can. Clear, dark brown in the glass, with a dense dark beige head. The aroma has toffee, dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts, and hints of vanilla. It’s full-bodied and warming, smooth and sweet, with lots of dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts in the flavor. Caramel sauce and some vanilla. Lasting finish. Can, shared by bergstaden. It's a hazy dark golden colored beer with a dense, two-finger off-white head. Cute lacing. The aroma is piney, citrusy and with a touch of caramel and bread. Orange marmalade notes, bready hints and a light grassy note. It's full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a decent bitterness. Not too sweet either. Pine cones, grapefruit, orange zest, hints of grass and bready malts in the flavor. Lasting finish. Sure pleasant to have a nice IPA again, even though this isn't the most exciting IPA I've had. 231126

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop, Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 17th November 2023 playing a selection of funky tracks in the dining room, we had Moqueca (Brazilian Fish Stew) for tea and it was fantastic. Pours shark eye black with a dark beige head. A little bit boozy on the nose, but there is also some maltiness & coffee. Thickness in the mouth, chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, some bitter cocoa, a little burnt edge, a touch woody, but thick chocolate returns.

Pours dark brown with a frothy creme head. Aroma of pumpkin spice. Taste has pumpkin spice, chocolate malt. Palate has loads of nutmeg, some squash, cinnamon, chocolate. Good.

Pours near black. It smells of roast malt, chocolate, and pumpkin. The flavor is fairly sweet with chocolatey roast malt, a definite spicy character, and pumpkin. It’s full bodied and works very well.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy and dank citrus with grass and bread supporting. Flavor has earthy and bitter citrus with a bit of pine and some grass underlying.
