(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Citric and lemony hoppy aroma with a slightly zesty touch. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Dry malty and slightly mineralic taste with mainly fruity and delicately zesty hops; dry and moderately bitter finish with notes of grape fruit in the lasting aftertaste. Recommended. 02.IX.11

Bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp mf. Dry malty base fruity and slightly herbal hops; dry and bitter finish with a very discreet and late arriving malty sweetness. Bottle: Clear, golden, stable white foam leaving rings on the glass, dominant grapefruity-citrussy nose; solid dry bitter flavour, light bodied and soft; lingering grapefruity-hoppy finish with a balancing amount of pale malt. Fyne........!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bottle: A bit unclear, pale greenish-golden coloured, mid-sized stable&lacy white head, leaving rings on the glass; moderate to solid grapefruity-herbal hoppy nose, pale-malt underneath; soft, almost medium-bodied; robust bitter-sweet flavour; dry aromatic citrussy and hoppy finish. Great! Wow, what a session beer.....

Cask at the Craft Beer Co. It pours hazy amber, with a thick white head. The nose is wood, leather, dust, lemon, lime, soap and pepper. The taste is wood, smoke, leather, astringency, soap, pepper and salt. Light to medium body and soft carbonation. Not great.

April 4th 2011 early amateur rate. Cask at the Craft Beer Co. It pours straw yellow, with a decent beige head. The nose is white bread, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit and pepper. The taste is initially melon, then: pine, resin, leaf and grapefruit, with a mouth-numbing, dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. A refreshing session ale. 3.7. I have had this loads of times in bottles, cans & many, many times on cask. A fresh cask pint of this is exquisite. On the face of it straight forward and rounded, but has an incredible subtle depth of flavour. Bright fresh citrus marry up well with a clean malt base. One of the few beers I return to again and again.

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Hazy pale gold beer, residual white head. Light semi dry palate. Lagerish malt offset by decent grapefruit hop. Semi dry finish. Interesting enough.

Bottled. Near clear copper colour, rich firm head. Spicy hop aroma. Dry and crisp with light, firm body. Slighty piny with light notes of peat, longspicy bitterness. Really good!

Bottle @ Light yellow beer with a medium and white head. Aroma is fresh and fruitfull, tropical fruits, peaches and some lemon and pine needles. Aroma could be more intensive. Taste is biscuitym some lemony sourness, medium piney bittery and overally taste is dry. Quite light to drink, still nice. Succesfull, fresh Golden Ale with enough of taste, bitterness and flavours.
