Cask air pressure at Euston Tap. Gold clear thin lasting white head. I had this straight after the Avalanche which I like very much so this has a lot to live up to. Yes some lovely hop. Yes indeed the hop is very tasty. Some tasty malt but I do get the very merest hint of butter. Big bitter hop on end is arresting to the mouth though. Touch of white pepper.

Cask @ Old Mill, Brodie. Dark malt porter-like appearance with frothy white head. Aroma - bit of roast malt, not much on the nose. Taste - roasted malt, slight plain chocolate, stronger than expected at 3.3% abv with a roasty bitter finish. However, a bit watery and thin (which is to be expected). Not a fan of very low abv beers (generally watery, low in flavour, bit pointless) but I would have this again - this is a well crafted mild for the abv.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, decent session ale.

Cask at Craft Beer Co. It pours dark brown, with a thick, fluffy beige head and soft carbonation. The nose is spicy, brown bread, leather, tar, smoke, burnt toast and sweet toffee. The taste is charcoal, burnt toast, caramel, leather, tar, dust, wood, bitter chocolate and red chilli pepper, with alcohol warmth in the finish. A way above average, flavoursome cask stout.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, lightly doughy caramel with chalky notes, faint hops. In mouth, a smooth biscuitty malt with smooth hops, more czech in style, but nice. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 10, 2011.

A reddish brown ale with a thin moka head. In aroma, nutty caramel with chalky notes, slightly oxidized. In mouth, a nice nutty malt, roasted and woody, surprisingly good, again. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 10, 2011.

A golden blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, light sweet malt with faint herbal hops, light peppery notes. In mouth, a smooth biscuitty malt with crisp almost German hops, not bad, refreshing but a little boring. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 10, 2011.

A reddish brown ale with a thick brown head. In aroma, a surprsingly vinous malt with caramel, butterscotch, British hops, very nice. In mouth, a nicely roasted caramel malt, oily mouthfeel, nutty and lightly floral hops, surprising and quaffable. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 10, 2011.
