(bottle, as "IJndejaars") Slightly hazy ruby red colour with a huge foamy off-white head. Very fruity (cranberries, strawberres) aroma with a peppery spice. Bittersweet flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Initially sweet malty taste with shy caramel notes and a fruity (cranberries, blackcurrants) palate, spicy, moderately dry and light bitter and lasting finish. Very tasty and enjoyable.

(bottle) Golden colour with a big foamy white head. Stromg citrus (oranges) aroma with floral hops, yeasts and hay. Creamy texture, medium body, bittersweet flavour. Light sweet malty taste with honey, oranges and a peppery spicy, still fruity and light bitter finish. Very interesting and rather uncommon “Tripel”. Well-quaffable and moreish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, golden beer with a creamy, white head that leaves some pretty laces in my glass. Vaguely hoppy nose. Light-bodied but dry and well hopped with a short, dry hoppy finish. 291005

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber with a small, off-white head. Slightly tart, fruity nose. Caramelish sweetness with some odd - but pleasant - fruity notes of....pineapple! Must be an ester. No real bitterness. 291005

Bottle: Cloudy , amber to reddish coloured, thin but stable firm head; fruity nose (strawberries !), also brandy and caramel; initial sweet malty taste; rather full bodied (no surprise....) with a creamy mouthfeel, quite sweet but not cloying; malty finish with a touch of tart fruitiness; sweet, but not too sweet, well quaffable strong brew, warming.

(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head with nice lacing. Moderately sweet malty, nutty and slightly fruity aroma with yeasts and a distinctive note of liquorice. Bittersweet flavour, medium to light bodied, lively but not unpleasant carbonated. Bitter-orange fruity and yeasty taste with a well balanced liquorice-spicy finish carried by a distinctive, but light hop bitterness. A very tasty and most of all complex (Weizen-)Bock.
