Wow! This mouth watering liter swing top comes in an amazing paper wrapping (they had me at “liter”) courtesy of douglas88. Thanks man! It pours brown with copper hues and thin tan head. The aroma is pine mixing with a nice load of oak. The aroma seems a bit timid for the style. The taste is full with pine hop flavor then moving into bitterness with a tasty level of malty sweetness. The oak is there from beginning to end. It ends with oak, pine hop bitterness, some roastiness and fading malt sweetness. Yummy stuff.

Courtesy of THE douglas88, thanks again. Pours brownish copper with gold hues and thin white head. The aroma has notes of malts, crystal malts, hints of pine hops and grapefruit hops. The taste is full of malts to go along with a mild amount of roast then moving toward a modest level of pine hoppiness. Toward the finish a bit of hops return with a bit more hop bitterness than before and lingering into the after taste.

12 oz bottle from Douglas88; Nose of floral and [iney hops with some light caramel and vanilla notes tossed in; clear copper with a medium beige head that laced lightly; flavor was light bitterness, pine, and some caramel; nice light IPA!

12 oz bottle from Douglas88! Nose of light melon, bubblegum, and wheat, hazy yellow with a medium, glass-lacing white head; flavor is fruity esters and wheat with a tiny bitter note at the finish; decent wheat.

Opaque, almost tan colour. Fruity, spicy note with a fair bit of yeastiness. Very spicy, almost harshly so. Big malty body. Dry, spritzy finish.

Taste is smooth with a maltiness, brown sugar, and caramel blend that balance out some hoppiness. Taste is good, texture is a little light. Better than the average pale lager, but not as good as a true amber ale.

Bright reddish-bronze colour. Aroma is of woody, grapefruity, blood orangey hops. Flavour is sweet, with some light crystal or vienna malts and a hint of citrusy hops. Finishes fairly quickly.

Bright amber. No head despite a fairly vigourous pour. Oxidized pale malt aroma. Light body. Mild, sweetish, vaguely caramelly flavour with mushroomy undertones. Appropriate moniker for such a lifeless brew.

Bright dark bronze colour. Very toasty, slightly smoky aroma. Flavour is sweetish, mainly toasty, slightly nutty, caramelly. Dry finish. Very lagerish - quite similar to the Dunkel at the Joker Bar in Kazan, Russia.
