Description

opalescent amber colour, moderate sized creamy, ecru head, aroma of dried sour cherry, or rather sour cherry juice, woody, vanilla, some citric, marzipan and bretty, as well as tannin-like notes; taste is quite the same with some rum-like alcoholic notes; good one, though it's quite far from a typical tripel

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 23 Feb 2024) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with dried pineapple, peaches, candy sugar, herbs, coriander and alcohol. Fruity, malty taste with notes of sugar, white bread, dried pineapple, coriander, herbs, oak wood, whisky and a balanced herbal bitterness in a sweet and vinous finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and tasty, but a bit unbalanced and boozy. Quite nice.
