Description

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice expression of wild yeast, leather, and crusty bready malt. Flavour is much the same, with balsamic vinegar, acetic notes, wild yeast, and earthy, bready malt. Finishes leathery, toasty and sour. The lambic character in this is not that prominent other than imparting some wild bugginess. Good but not exquisite.

Quite nice random Belgian saison. Not sour at all, of course. No candy sugar but the barley/ wheat blend gives it a bit of cereal sweetness.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy and slightly citrusy fruity aroma, wheaty malty background, notes of coriander, orange peel, a touch of wheat crisp bread. Taste is minimally bready, wheaty malty without residual sweetness, spicy and slightly citrusy fruity, hints of white bread crust, wheat crisp bread, some coriander and orange peel, mild zesty bitterness, weak citrusy tartness. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Refreshing, a tad watery - pretty decent.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a small beige head. Nose has a nice, smooth rum barrel character upfront, with the Belgian yeast further back that gives off light spiciness, clove, gentle esters. Flavour has some vanillin, gentle rum, bready malt, and toasted caramel -- this certainly doesn't have the typical tripel character, nor a typical rum barrel character. But it works well enough.

Nice belgian pale ale. More on the phenolic dry side, not an ipa as advertised here. Cambribus bruges

Mycket gott

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some zesty and mild wooden and whisky tones to it. Flavour is floral, some zesty, wooden and mild earthy and floral tones to it. Mild spicy yeast to it as well. Quite nice modern Triple with vibes of old school Triples.
