I missed out on this at Ibaraki Bakuon so I’m glad to try it here. TY Harbor Lilikoi Hop Juice Cloudy orange gold with a filmy head and a rich tart fruity aroma. Medium bodied and quite chewy/yeasty in texture but finishing fairly dry. The taste is a somewhat tart tropical acidic fruitiness. Quite summery and quaffable.

TY Harbor Coffee Brut IPA 6.5% At Bakuon. Clear copper gold with a mechanical coffee aroma. The taste is a cup of your earthy slightly sweet morning joe with a quite dry finish. Pretty interesting. Ap 4 Ar 8 t 7-8 p 3-4 o 12-3

Tap @ Beerboy, Nakameguro. 2019 version. Pours creamy yellow, some white bubbles on the top. Soft nose, bit dusty, sweet and has some yeast spice character going on. Tastes sweet, fruity and spicy yeast esters there, contributing to a bitter linger in the finish. Quite nice.

Tap at the brewery. Supposed to be belgian but got weizen feel to aroma. Very thin. Pretty boring, taste disappears immediately. Tastes like air.

Tap at the brewery. Burnt, bit bitter, smoke, light spice, soy sauce. Bit of roast. Nice, but not mind blowing. Cola. Brown sauce fruitiness. Not so thick, maybe just boozy.

Tap at iBrew. Cloudy golden colour. Aroma is not much, light honey, bit wheaty. Taste is similar, not much there apart from a touch of honey and some wheat. Slightly dry bit of bitterness at finish. It's ok but not very exciting. Nothing wrong but nothing interesting.

Tap at Craft Hands. Amber colour, small golden head. Aroma is full on resinous hops, bit of cat pee, spiky maltiness. Taste is alright too, initial bitterness, hops, grapefruit, then quickly goes to something floral or herbal maybe and twiggy too. Finish is spiky and bitter, bit of alcohol too, lingers a while. Pretty good and a pleasant surprise after the last beer I tried by them. Maybe a bit too boozy to drink too much of though. Menu said 8%. Rerate at brewery, Nov 14. Guessing the last time it was the IIPA. This time it's nice if unspectacular. US hops, light maltiness, grassy, bit of pine. Pleasant light funkiness. Good.
