Tap at Gulp. Lovely red and orange layers or swirls, very cloudy. Looks really cool. Nose is orange juice with strawberries. Sweet fruity flavor, orange, strawberry, apricot and peaches, wheaty biscuits. Fun stuff. Like it a lot.

Tap at Ibaraki Bakuon. 4.5% 25 IBU. A clear light gold with a thick white head of foam and a supremely grainy aroma. The taste is lightly fruity then grainy but quite dull. This looks more like a golden ale than yesterday's Unenishiki but that tasted way more like one.

Tap at Ibaraki Bakuon. A cloudy matte gold with a green tinge(or is that my imagination?) The aroma is kiwi, cloves and, light malts. The taste is full on ripe kiwi, so much so I've gotta wonder if it is a syrup if some kind. Not bad and more tropical feeling than Shimane beer's tropical wheat, mayhaps a bit too sweet seeming.

Draught at the Ichinoseki Beer Fest 2017. Spicy, herbal nose on this gruit. Lemon and honey. apple juice-like cloudy amber with lace. the flavor is huge herbs and spice, a bit too much for me, especially the sage, but there is then a tangy fruit layer to it as well, which does well to balance things out. Very lemony, some peaches, a bit sweet and tart too. I don’t like the spices personally, but this is quite well done and impressive.

Draught at the Ichinoseki Beer Fest 2017. Fruity nose, of which part is certainly watermelon. Salty flavor, lemon, water melon, cheese and crackers. Lactic. Strange and fun but not quite great, and the finish is a bit roughly bitter.

Tap at Osakajo. Muddy, pastel yellow color is not so attractive, but the nose is awesome with huge, juicy plum backed up by light wheaty biscuits. Mind-blowingly good plum flavor, so ripe and juicy with a bit of sweetness and a lot of tartness so you think it might be a gose or Berliner. Fresh, crisp, tart. A lovely beer, the best I have had from T.Y. to date and the best beer of the festival.

Tap at Osakajo. Nose of lemon, yogurt, herbs. Pale pastel yellow. Crisp, tart, and lactic. Nice drinking and well balanced. Tastes more like lemon than lemon grass specifically.
