Bottle during RBSG 2014 Bus Tour at Perennial’s Barrel Room. Batch 1. Hazy caramel brown with off-white head. Aromas of whiskey, funk, cheese. Tastes of whiskey, cherry, tart fruit, vinegar. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Pretty interesting with the whiskey barrel.

Bottle during RBSG 2014 Bus Tour at Perennial’s Barrel Room. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of funk, floral notes, spices, herbs. Tastes of funk, floral notes, citrus, herbs, spices. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice.

Draft at RBSG 2014 Dressel’s Pub Beer Dinner. Came straight from the barrels. Black with no head, brown hues. Aromas of dark chocolate, fudge, caramel, vanilla, marshmallows. Tastes of dark chocolate, roast, vanilla, marshmallows. Medium body with a dry and light boozy finish. No carbonation which is to be expected and didn’t detract from the beer.

Full glass on draft during RBSG 2014 Bus Tour at Perennial. Hazy apricot yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, tart fruit, floral notes, sweet fruit. Tastes of tart fruit, vinegar, tropical fruit, wine. Medium body with a dry finish. Low carbonation. Really nice.

Draft at beer dinner. RBSG. St. Louis. Pours black oil. Nose/taste of toasted burnt marshmallow, fudge cake, brownie, vanilla, charred wood, coffee and adult chocolate milk. Full bodied. Simply amazing.

Bottle at RBSG Perennial stop. Pours dark brown with white head. Nose/taste of charred oak, whiskey, tart cherry, sour dark fruit and soured caramel/chocolate. Medium body.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brownish red with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a red fruit pie tartness with a bit of dark grain underlying. Flavor has a cherry pie note with a growing acid note snd light spice.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong cheesy funk, some yogurt, light sour fruits and light grains. Flavor has the same yogurt and tart light fruit with a bit or light grain backing.
