Rich coffee tones, but they don't dominate, nor do they seem over-roasted/acrid. Soft choco-vanilla undertones from base malt as it combines with the darker ones. Clean, no booze, and no excessive sugar.
Creamy, rich, thick, near-syrupy, sweet, not cloying. Luscious coffee intertwined with bittersweet chocolate ending on a balancing bitter roast (but not too heavy and not at all dark/acrid). That's a whole hell of a lot of flavor and I like that the maltiness is pushed, making it fairly decadent, but it doesn't go too over-the-top, leaving it satisfyingly drinkable. I could nearly chug this thing it's so flavorful and creamy. A rare, well-done non-BA Imperial Stout (Side Project is really good at these).

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some toffee notes offset by bourbon, vanilla and orange liquor notes. Taste is a mix of caramelized malt, some residual sugar notes, some toffee and a smooth finale of bourbon, vanilla and nice Grand Marnier notes. Body is full with good carbonation and some warming alcohol notes. Extremely well brewed and the barrels added layers of complexities.

A- Gold color, slightly hazy liquid, white head.
A- Pineapple, tangerine, funky.
F- Pineapple, tangerine, funk, subtle oak.
T- Light body, bright texture, average carbonation, tangy finish.
O- Lot of fruit on the nose and the taste. Lots of funk but the fruit still comes through well.

Thanks Chris & Linh for sharing. Pours like motor oil, or black treacle. No head. Smellas of liquid chocolate, massively sweet, light nutty, boozy, vanilla. Retronasal the booziness is a bit clearer, but still sweet, chocolate, light nutty. Flavour is heavy sweet, boozy alcohol, light roasty bitterness. Full bodied. Alcohol heat. Long finish, nutty and light bitter.

Bottle shared at home. Black with no head. Aroma upfront is quality street with boozy bourbon, vanilla and dark fruity notes. Heavy west and light heavy bitter with a thick texture.

Bottle from Ryan I think: pours light orange with white head. Aroma is watermelon, minerals, mellow funkiness. Nice watermelon notes, slight saltiness, medium sourness without too much acid. An interesting beer, but I was ultimately not craving drinking the whole bottle.

750 mL bottle, blend #2, drunk 5/21/24. Still a bit of gushing, despite it's age. Turns it somewhat cloudy. Pink-rose-cranberry. Very little head. Tart lactic and light Brett acids. Tannic grape skins, all balanced by nutty, soft wheat and neutral oak character. Clean. Lightly juicy grape lingering. Soft, wheaty texture and oak soak up a lot of the acid, leaving fruity, tart, moderately acidic, piquant grape skins and moderate lactic acidity. Very dry at this age, but still plentiful texture. Tart, fruity, lightly juicy. Refreshing.

Draught Very good, receding, fine & dense lightly pinkish tinted head over rosy-amber beer. Raspberry nose, fine and natural, faintly sweet - malty. Sour, lactic acid, fruitacids, unripe strawberries, lemon. Acidburn and -thinning, low carbonation, refreshing as a matter of fact. All in all, excellent fruitversion of a strong saison.
