Batch #2, 750mL bottle shared by AdamC on 7/24/15.
Lightly hazy golden body is topped by a moderate amount of white head that slowly recedes to cover. Smacked in the nose with chardonnay....perhaps smacked isn’t the right word, as I like chardonnay, and this is a fine example of it; not too buttery/oaky and with good acidity and juicy fruit notes. The flavor is a mouthful of chardonnay as well, albeit on a soft, tightly carbonated and lean body. Some lactic notes break through....almost no saison character....really grasping at straws to find much other than chardonnay here. Seems like the base beer must be nice, but there’s just no getting past the wine character here.

Can is date stamped 12- 18. Aromas aren't that good with malt, oxidized resin, cooked cereal and rotting fruit. Flavors are similar to nose with some other odd flavors I can't place.l lighty sweet. Drain pour.

16 oz can. Aroma is chocolaty, minty, molasses, wet stone. Pours like motor oil with a thin tan head that reduces quickly to a ring. Taste is mostly sweet with some light bitterness around the edges and some umami. Very rich, so best shared.

Shockingly well hidden alcohol given that it’s 18%. Really good. Heavy wood presence with nuttiness, dark chocolate, vanilla and booze in a nice way.

Draft tulip at Oak & Steel in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is orange golden, slightly hazed, with a foamy ½ inch white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is soft leather Brett, citrus of pineapple and tangerine. The taste is a really gentle blend of grain Saison notes, the citrus of the pineapple and tangerine and finishing with the drying Brett. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the dry citrus Brett finish. Really nice.

The fragrant aromas are malt, citrus, onions, a little sweat and cat pee. A slight hint of MJ. Flavors are similar to nose. A little on the street side with plenty of bitter and okay carbonation to balance. Juicy. Could easily have more of this.

4 pack canned 7/10/25, most recent can drunk 2/27/26.
Round, clean and malty with dainty, honey-like notes mixing with fresh herbs and very slight pepper from the hop. Light minerality, good fruitiness from hop emerging as it warms/breathes.
Rich malts drying out nicely with a bit of fruity melon, slight pineapple and then more classic fresh herb character from the hop. Round honey from the malt with excellent depth for its size creating a satisfying, flavorful, balanced lager. Clean and crisp with pleasing, but not overdone bitterness on the finish.

Taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense tart notes of peach and light Brett.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with a light acetic edge and balanced notes of stone fruit.
