Bottle, courtesy of SinH4, 2015 vintage. Pours clear golden. Aroma is light funk, but also clearly a lot of dry green apples. Body is medium and fruity sweet, crisp carbonation. Palate lingers with sweet apples, lots of flesh. Juicy and really tasty, but just a tad too sweet for the ultimate drinking experience. I should age this.

Bottle, vintage 2012 (shared by fatphil, thanks). Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, baked apples, sour notes. Flavor is sweet, sour, apples, some acidity. Overall: bit hard to drink, but still very good.

2011 bottle drank Nov 10, 2016. We bought this bottle, sort of forgot about it, moved overseas, left it in a dark basement for a few years, found it, moved it to a fridge, etc, drinking it today. I figure it has gone south since it’s only 4.5%. Annnnd, I’m totally wrong. This is really great. Clear medium orange golden. Sweet, apple, light suffer, a very faint smoke note. Nice dry apple finish. The flavor is complex but very well blended. Such an enjoyable cider. Great.

Bottle, forgot to write down the vintage, sampled 10/21/16.
Viscous, light amber-golden liquid shows high clarity.
Rich, spicy apple notes are like a concentrated golden delicious with cinnamon, vanilla, and fresh oak added in to the mix. Nicely aged, with no sharp, punchy or boozy notes, it has a good balance of rich sugars, earthiness and tannic dryness. Clean and with no alcohol.
Rich and sumptuous in the mouth, but with a dangerous drinkability, the lightly sticky body adds rich honey-vanilla, light almondmeal and hints of cinnamon, clove and allspice. Some weird but interesting earthy and funky notes in there too. Hard to believe this stuff is only 6.9% abv and kind of makes me lose a little respect for all of the 10% + ice ciders out there that are doing the same thing only with double the alcohol. Comforting, flavorful and well balanced with the acidity. Wonderful stuff.

Sampled on draft at Monk’s Cafe this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was musty and bretty with a bit of apple flesh. The flavor was apple flesh, mustiness, a bit tart and earthy. Long musty apple flesh finish. Medium body. Ok.

Pours dark amber, shiny mahogany, no foam. Aroma is sweetish, lots of sweet apple povidlo. Condensed apple jam flavours, still very sweet but not too much. Lingering apple peel jam in the finish. Nice, very nice

Draft at Max’s Taphouse. Very hazy pale xolor. No head. Aroma is classic Dupont with bitter and tart apple skins, some spoiled apple, lots of apple funk. Flavor has a strong citric tartness cutting right through it, dries out the palate. Can pick out some dry apple skins but it’s jy st mostly strong tartness with a drying skins finish. My first Dupont Cider on draft.

Bottle shared at Comme la Gueuze. Very honey-like nose with pear and apple standing out. Caramelized, honey glazed apple. Sweet, but a rich, caramelized sweetness that is almost like umami. Honey-like texture. Sweet, toasty finish. Nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Givre Cidre de Glace on 15 Oct 2016 at 21:41 - Score: 7

Golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is sweet natural apples, wood, caramel, some funk. Taste is sweet apples, also tartness, wood, some tannins, some calvados hotness im the back, but very balanced. Effervescent carbonation. Sweet, but in a natural way, and awesomely so. Still, it’s quite sweet, not for everybody.
