Clear golden pour, small white head. Bready malts, grassy hops, light spice, light sweetness. Crisp, clean mouth feel, hints if off paper flavours with some low bitterness, and some sweet bready malts.

When it comes to pale 4% lagers the bar is pretty damn low. This pour very pale yellow, with a small white head. Now, this surprised me, I can smell hops! Good golly miss Molly! A pale lager that is aimed at the doors light drinker with some freaking hops. Nice and grassy, with some decent cereals. Crisp, and refreshing, this really blew me away. Well done!

Can from the brewery. Dark brown, light copper hues get through, with a small beige head. Spicy nose, no roast, nothing really resembling a porter, big notes of vanilla and nutmeg and other pie spices, actually has a strong eggnog aroma. Solid mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is lightly bitter, strong pie spice finish, more vanilla, with a subtle fruitiness, and light sweetness. Not bad, but the base porter has completely disappeared.

473ml can. Hazy orange pour, medium white head. Aroma is resinous with hints if citrus zest. Mouth feel and carb are good. Finish is highly bitter, more pine resins, citrus notes are there but muted. This was very underwhelming. Not bad, but not what I expected.

Tap at barhop.
Black pour, medium mocha head. Lots of roasty, with a strong lactic nose. Subtle pine, lots of nutty roast. Soft mouth feel, low carb. Feels, but doesn’t look like a nitro tap. Low bitterness, sweet milk chocolate finish. Quite nice.

Bomber from the brewery. Clear copper pour, with a small white head. Aroma is pretty much all cold coffee with hints of caramel malts. Good body, nice carb. Finish is medium bitter with a strong satisfying coffee finish. Not much going on here other than coffee, it just dominates every aspect or the beer.

Great notes of grapefruit, not too sweet and the ginger is a perfect balance of floral and a touch earthy with a nice gingerale type of finish. Super refreshing, a quite good radler.

Bombe from the brewery. Clear copper pour, small white head. Aroma of sweet, earthy malts, with hints of citrus zest and oils. Good mouth feel and soft carb. The finish is low on the bitterness, and a tad too sweet for an ipa. There are also hints of diacetyl, and not much hops in the end.

Black pour, big mocha head. Light pine resin aroma, with a copious amount of roasted malt, and some coffee. Medium. Bitterness, not sure there is enough hop presence to make this a black ipa and not a hoppy American porter, but it’s still quite well done, and one of the better beers from this brewery that I’ve tried.
