Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big warm cap, good retention and thick foamy lace. Fresh fruity aromas of citrus, grass and pine with nice balancing yeast. The taste is piney with some nice sharp bitterness. Not really that dry though. Slightly oily, nicely fruity overall. A nice Alpha hop bomb!

(can) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; light aroma of roast, then milk chocolate; starts sweet and develops into a long, light bitter finish

Nice golden-brown colour, no head. Aroms of vanilla syrup, cinnamon syrup, maybe chocolate syrup. Good lord that’s bad. On the palate, has a lot of cloves so you actually feel it...oh...whacky. Super sweet. What a nonsenical, poor beer.

473mL can, pours a dark chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma is all sorts of artificial, with loads of nutmeg and who knows what else. Flavour is nasty, with banana ice cream, butterscotch and nutmeg. Seriously, how can you put something out like this? Nasty.

A dark brown ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with light nutty notes, light floral hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with roasted notes, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light nutty notes, coffee grind, pleasant. On tap at Vip brewery market event, April 24 2017.

Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy light-beige head, good retention and some thick foamy lace. Aromas of caramel malts with some cereal notes and nice grassy-spicy hops. The caramel and cereal grains also show up lightly in the taste, but the hops take over a little. Decent dryness in the mouthfeel. Some floral notes and nutty hints. Pretty good refreshing and hoppy amber ale.

Keg at Big Rig Brewery, Ottawa. Dark brown with small head. Licorice and coffee up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, licorice and tar. Long bitter finish. Hops dominate. Would have liked less hops and deeper malt.
