Can picked up from Beerdome webshop Grootegaste Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 6th November on the first Friday of this second lockdown. Listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music and making Mean and Green Chicken Tikka Kebabs and an Everyday Goan Dal. Pours mid gold actually edging towards orange with a white head, nose is malty and suggests sweetness. Thick and syrupy mouthfeel very American in style, big, ballsy and hoppiness abounds. Nice.

Can from Hoptimaal, Netherlands. Aroma of sweet stone fruit with a piney edge. Hazy light orange. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter with a zesty sour tinge. Some initial sweetness is short-lived. Medium bodied. Slick. Buoyed by soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. For a NEIPA it's particularly sweet at all, more full-on zesty bitterness.

Can. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small and short lived off white head. Palate is dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Somewhat thin malts provide a very modest sweetness. Dry piney hops. Some dry citric pith underneath. A little brighter citrus but with light tang. Little peel. Dry finish. Not doing much for me. Thin, dry, tangy and pithy. Not my kind of IPA at all.

Plenty of honey and tannic notes. I love the fun and experimental-ness of this. Sure picked up a lot of the oak and wine notes from the barrel and I dig the still vibes.
