Bottle at Leighton’s Aug 11 tasting. It pours darkest brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is caramel, liquorice, treacle and dark chocolate. The taste is dark chocolate, salted liquorice, pepper, roasted malt, cardboard, caramel, toast and some decent bitterness, with a dry finish. Light body and low carbonation. Very drinkable stuff.
