Description
Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations. The brewery is the revival and continuation of 220 years of Hill heritage and hand crafted history in North Greensboro, Vermont. Its logo is retrieved from a sign that once hung in Aaron Hill's (our great(x3) grandfather) tavern, just up the hill, in the early 1800s.

Can thank to Wingman. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, a little creamy sweetness, mild grain. Soft pine. Light juicy stone fruits. Light finish. Nothing special at all.

Can at home, from J and B Craft drinks, Amsterdam, 17th December 2025. Pours off clear and orange. Aroma is marmalade, pithy. Taste is elegant, citrus and pith, bitter - so well made, a classic IPA

Bottle from Chris D: pours reddish purple with a lightly pinkish white head. Loads of blueberry in the nose along with vanilla and touches of minerality. Taste is sweetish, lightly funky. Juicy through and through. Blueberry aftertaste. Pretty good.

Supremely balanced - the cognac compliments the barleywine but doesn’t overpower it at all.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours yellowy - orange with. Lasting fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, ripe, juicy, good depth of stone fruits, apricot, peach, mango, persimmon, sticky, slightly dank, green and sticky pine. The taste is initially dry/green, sticky, piney, sappy, resin, ripe stone fruits, mango, apricot jam, peach, persimmon, bit weedy, nip of booze and waxy citrus peel with a drying, green finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Sturdy and fruity. Nice one.

Draught at Khyber: pours light orange haze with white head. Aroma is heavy mosaic, herbal and spicy notes abound. Taste is somewhat bitter and very tangy. So very mosaic.

Draught at Khyber: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is toasty with some dark chocolate, light hoppiness. Smooth, not too sweet. An excellent example of style.
