Description
Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations. The brewery is the revival and continuation of 220 years of Hill heritage and hand crafted history in North Greensboro, Vermont. Its logo is retrieved from a sign that once hung in Aaron Hill's (our great(x3) grandfather) tavern, just up the hill, in the early 1800s.

Unlabeled 750ml bottle. Murky, golden orange. Some odd cellary aromas, but overall a sweet honey malt tone. Some pleasant funkiness. Not unlike an Orval at times. A very well executed creation. Some peppery hop tones. All around very complex, and very well balanced. Smooth, easy drinking for all the complexity. The honey rounds it out quite well. Starts to finish Tripel-like.

Yellow with a white head. Strong hop aroma with a very light malt sweetness. Flavor has a powerful citrus hop flavor, light sweet malts. Finish, while rather bitter, is very short. A good summer beer.

Strong citrus with a nice round malt backbone. The bitterness is pretty intense and lasting. Fairly fresh tasting. Enjoyable. (Draught at Monk’s)

Golden orange with a white head. Citrus and floral hops in the nose with a bit of sweetness, too. Flavor has plenty of bright fruit, light floral notes, a bit of pine- though restrained- and nice sugary sweetness to round it out. Finishes with a nice lingering hop bite. (Draught at Monk’s)
