Missed the tasting again solo can, thanks to Paul and Sarah. A near clear deep good beer, a good bubbly cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied malts, smooth, a touch of grain, modest sweetness. An unwelcome smoky note from somewhere. The Slovenian hops (be nice to know wot ones) brings a mildly resinous citrus peel bitterness. Cooling pine. Light but juicy citrus, brighter, on the back end. Something else going on in the hop dept that I can't quite put a finger on. Light finish leaves a mild peel bitter linger. Not bad. Get rid of the smoke and there would be a tidy West Coast Session job here.

Bottle from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 7 months past BBE. Cloudy gold, moderate sized white head. Subtle aromas of citrus and tropical peel, bread, dusty floral hops. Grainy and bready with a tangy citrus zest and a light floral bitterness; has an earthy freshness to it; nice. Light bodied, refreshing, very much unfiltered. It's quite good.

330ml bottle: BB 11th January 2024. Poured into my IPA tasting glass at home on 11th August 2023, 5th beer in a mini-tasting with myself. Slight haze to the golden/amber body, large white head which arrived with a gush. Hoppy nose and taste, it's fairly bitter too, piney/earthy hops with a light fruity trace below the bitterness. Someone forgot the put the malts in, or they have changed the recipe because there is no caramel or malty sweetness in my glass, others noted the malts in earlier reviews.
