Description
Platform was founded in 2014 on the premise that collaboration should be at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Whether it be with pro brewers, the home brewing world or a variety of other industries, beer is special and should be shared.
From humble beginnings, brewing on a 3 bbl brewhouse in Cleveland, Platform has expanded to a second Tasting Room in Columbus, a Production Facility in Cleveland, a Cincinnati Tasting Room named LOCOBA and a Sour Beer Facility named Phunkenship

We brew high-quality craft beers for sale in our tasting rooms and distribute throughout Ohio. Expect a mix of ever-changing styles inspired by beer trends.

Pour is medium viscous off pale dirty pale haze. Thicker foamy white head, lasts and goes craggy. Co2 is not bad for this much of an IPA. First palate impression is real rubber flavored hops. Whew, now I'm feeling the alky kick in the middle. Careful; goes down fairly easy. Ending comes sooner than expected. Overall, the olfactory is a nosy mild hop perfume, and cannot detect any BO in this schnozzle. I don't like IPA but this one seemed to have less insult than the other quadrillion trillion out there. There, you have it.

355ml can, online from Brewdog. Pours light hazed orange with a small off-white head. Aroma: sweet potato, caramel, brown sugar, clove, ginger, nutmeg. The taste follows the aroma. Light to moderate sweet & bitter, light spicy finish. Thin to medium body with moderate carbonation.

Can. Brown almost orange and there are things floating in there from the bottom of the can. Light tan thin head. Smell is slight alky on malt. Initial taste is alky forward, almost medicine in feel. I'm usually nervous about these spiced holiday brews, they are almost always in yer face with the spices. My concern is confirmed; its high alky difficult, somewhat spiced, attributes bring on a less than average beer experience. JMHO. Yes, good thing it can slightly dull your senses. Really gets in your face. Spicy why-see. Nasty nellie, makes me want to think about poorly made domestic barley whine, heheh. Strange brew, this south pole elf. Mouth coating finish. Now that I had time to think about it, it smells like barley wine too.
