Description
We have always been driven to craft the best beer we can, and (in our opinion) the true challenge, consistency. Constant innovation is exciting and engaging, but consistent core beers that you can always depend on, is a challenge that equally drives us.
Our approach to beer development is different than most. We outline the desired finished product, it’s appearance, aroma, mouthfeel and then reverse engineer the ingredients and processes to get our desired final product. Knowing and understanding not just individual ingredients characteristics, but how they interact with each other make this possible.

12 oz can poured. Totally on board with these rotating single hop beers from the local breweries. Fun stuff! Golden orange pour, a bit oily, an active fizz head. Bitter citrus hops on the aroma and flavor. Classic IPA feel here, and an interesting hop profile considering the solitary bill. Not overly fruity, though there are both citrus and tropical notes. Good beer here.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out toasted malt upfront, with some booze and light roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with roasted malt, booze, and light toasted caramel. Harsh and boozy, but very pleasant.

Taster at WVBC. Clear, bright golden, small head, rings of lacing. No aroma, but saved by taste. Crisp and clean, nice hoppy snap. Could use a bit more grain notes. Weak start, finished stronger.

Wax dipped 375 ml bottle, thanks Billybob. After 20 minutes of trying to open this wax sealed son of a bitch, here we go. Aroma is strong brett with strong basement character, raspberry, alcohol. Pours black with beige foam. Taste is fruity, dry and bitter with flavors of raspberry, brett, chocolate, wet stone, raisin. Interesting, not bad.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of black currants, brett funk and some oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak, black currants, and brett. Very odd flavours and quite bretty. Interesting but pretty good.

Tap at Watering Hole. Bland nose, some spicy hops, a bit of English malt. Deep amber, clear, with lace. Nice spicy English hop flavor, peppery, not sweet, full body. Interesting.

Pours nice clean copper. Not much foam. Bready caramel nose, light hops. Tastes clean and light, caramelly and overall quite decent. I am enjoying this "extra" part of this bitter a lot.
