On tap at St Augustine's, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of vegetal notes, herbal grassy hops and a strange astringency on the finish. Something seems wrong here. Doesn't taste like a pils. Flawed.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a cloudy dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle bready malt and a touch of hops. Flavour is pretty bland, with metallic bready malt and a pronounced hoppy bitterness on the finish. Not very Scottish Ale-like, but clean enough. Meh.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours an opaque cloud my amber brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is nearly non-existent, with bready malt. Flavour is astringent, with herbal notes, bready malt and a grassiness on the finish. Not like a helles at all - strange stuff. Okay.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear cola brown with a tan head. Vinous nose. Flavors of slightly sour red wine. I don’t think this is skunked, more of sour stout. Just okay.

Draft 14 oz pour at the collective. Pours a bright red color with a tinted pink foam head and lacing. Fresh blueberry and red raspberry aroma and flavor. Flavor has a big wheat finish. Gets the berry flavor without the heavy sweetness. Has a sour twist towards the end. Overall, very nicely done. Enjoyed it.

Draft pour pint at the collective. Pours a clear golden color with a thin oily head. Grassy hop aroma. Bright, grapefruit citrus forward flavor, and very nice. Easy drinking. Soft lemon finish. Very nice session.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose of muffled herbal hops and some fungal notes, almost like a British bitter or pale. Flavour sort of confirms this, bringing out fungal notes and herbal hops. There's a pretty substantial astringency on the finish as well. Not my thing at all.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Light amber color, hazy, with compact head. Solid and smooth IPA, the malt profile is a bit cereally, the hop is a bit resiny. Either a bit old school, or not completely fresh.
But it’s a good beer.

Draft - Light grapefruit and some peel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter, sweet and lots of Mandarin with a syrupy note. Not bad.

Part of blind tasting.
Bubbly head atop of black body. That is about as good as it gets. After that its apparently infected. Basically, its infected sour cola.
