11.2 oz bottle. SB.23.02i. Imagine at best this was brewed in 2023..so at least two years old. A pinch of oxidation perhaps, but that could just be the barrel tone, which does add some cool wooden flavor. Really a great beer on most levels, a better body than 90% of Stouts out there. Some odd herbal, vegetal undetones from the wood. Imagine this is amazing fresh in Japan.

Bottle, from Mitsuwa Market, Edgewater NJ. Pours faintly cloudy dark yellow/orange with a foamy beige head, yeast malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter yuzu lemon-malt taste with yeasty flavor. thin body. long yuzu finish. Quite tasty.

A positive experience, on the last sunday with this beverage, smooth and boozy, well balanced, yeasty, rather sweet but it is not disgusting, vanilla and toffee, side of woody barrel, rather discreet, hop at the final, perfect during this windy period. 23.03.2021

Can @ home. Slightly unclear golden body under a fine, medium sized white head. Aroma has citric fruit/yuzu with a malty background in a delicate and subtle way. Taste is smooth, soft malt, refreshing yuzy, fruity bitterness, zest, slightly lime acidity and hint of oranges. Medium body with a refreshing aftertaste. Nice and balanced with a certain fruity complexity without hiding the beer behind. Both interesting and nice.
