Batch #3 from tap at the brewery. Hazy, bright gold with a tall fine head, quite reminiscent of champagne. Crisp, fruity nose, more grapefruit and citrus than nashi, but that comes through a bit too, some creamy lactic stuff as well. Dry, fruity flavor. Lightly sweet, lightly sour, not too acid. Elegant and light, crisp and dry. Great stuff.

Tap at the breweryu. Clear, pale gold. Nose is like a cream ale! Simple, pale malts, a bit of corniness, light citrus and grassy hop. Reminds me of the old Genny Creams of my youth, only a bit hoppier. Light citrus hop flavor is nice, the malt is crisp and light with a bit of gooey corn. This really does his the style right on. A crappy style, but a fun beer.

On tap at Tadg’s. A rich coconut milk aroma. The taste is earthy coconuts (hairy coconut shell like) and citrusy hops. Really interesting stuff that matches the hot weather we have today.

Tap at Tadg’s. Brilliantly clear orange with a low, thick head. Biscuity malt nose, oranges, a touch of milk, slight coconut. Munich malt and Maris Otter I would guess. Nice biscuity malt flavor, touch of chocolate, orange, peach, and nice coconut. Toasty coconut. Rich, full malt is tasty but maybe more suited to a Cocofuyu. Peppery finish. It is rather sweet, and also toasty. The more I have this, I the more I like it.

very clear light golden color. Malty sweet light lemony nose. Very clean, low to medium bitterness, very refreshing but not overly complex. This is how cream ale should be.

Light fruity lots of grapefruit rinds and slightly minty, dry taste. Pretty interesting mouth feel. Modest bitterness, well made but not overly adventurous

Hazy medium dark brown color. Frothy white head. Very earthy nose with wood, butterscotch and cherries. Medium body, excellent malt backbone, a bit too carbonated and cold for the style, but nothing wrong with the beer itself. Modest bitterness. Very rounded. Nice take on the style

Tap at Towa. A clear Amber orange color with a very pale beige head of foam that leaves great lacing behind. A medium malty aroma, a touch earthy and nutty. The taste is sweet, fruits (raisins and figs), tobacco leaf and earthy nuts. Well balanced.

Tap at the brewpub. This one features Equinox. Pretty, deep golden color with a fine head, cloudy. Nice citrus hop nose, zesty orange peel, biscuits. Spicy and peppery flavor, biscuity malts, love the zesty, peppery hop finish which leaves my tongue tingling for a long time. Well done.

Tap at the brewpub. Chocolate, spicy hops, pepper, and a bit of coffee in the nose. Dark brown, a bit cloudy. Flavor is chocolate, light roast, creamy or milky. Rather dry and somewhat nutty. Reliable porter. Many batches later, this has become a great one. Rich but not heavy, lovely flavors.
