Bottle courtesy of George. Excited to finally try some TDM beer! Pours a fairy clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Lovely pilsner malt foward nose with some light lemon, grain and grassy notes. Faint pear on the palate, with some stone fruit undertones and more toasted pils malt. A slight kiss of salt on the finish. Well done! What I suspect is pils malt works really well with the crisp pear and salt notes.

Tap. Pours clear golden orange, large off white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is tropical, grapefruit, mango, pineapple. Flavors is light sweet, light plus bitter, tropical citrus. Medium body. Very nice.

Tap at Takanoya. Tropical fruit nose, passion fruit, grapefrui, pine. Deep golden orange, clear, with lace. Lovely fruit flavor, tropical, orange, slightly floral too. Crisp and light with a nice peppery finish. Not all that bitter. Nice.

Batch #2, 8%abv, on tap at Takumiy. Deep orange, clear, with lace. Nice nose of citrus fruits, herbs, grass, grapefruit. West Coast style all the way. Rich fruity flavor, grapefruit, a bit of tropical fruit, pine. Bready malts (slightly). Piny, peppery finish and very bitter, slightly more than I want, but good stuff.

Tap at Takanoya. Bright copper, slightest hazy, fine head. Great tropical fruit nose, light dankness, pine, pineapple. Rich and somewhat sweet malt, great Mosaic flavor. Dank and fruity. Love it.

golden color. Frothy white head. Tropical notes in the nose but they don’t super shine. Body is maltier than expected with decent tropical fruit character. Underlying mouth feel is very soft and bitterness is not super aggressive. Very approachable though hops could have shined more. Gets higher mark just for great mouth feel

good mango and tropical fruit notes with solid malt backbone. Rounded. Modestly aggressive bitterness. Nice

Pitch black color. Off white head. The nose is lovely with licorice, dark fruit, dark chocolate and tobacco leaf. Oh my, low carbonation, dark chocolate, hazelnut, brownies, dark fruit, tobacco leaf with good roasted malt character on a dry but not so hoppy mouth make this a big winner. Alcohol well hidden. Smooth. Brownies and hazelnut play in the finish. Perfectly balanced, especially as it warmed I noticed a fair amount of bitterness. Textbook British Imp Stout, though maybe with a bit of extra bite

Tap at Takumiya. Pitch black with brown lace. Roasty nose, dark chocolate, light soy sauce, dark berries. Quite fruity flavor, citrus and berries, very roasty, dark chocolate, nice young fruitiness. Tasty and rich. Well balanced. Good stuff.

Tap @ TDM 1874 tap-takeover @ Wurst Haus. Pours average brown, not foamy as it's filled to the brink. Nose has some light roast, even coffee, caramel. Light bitterness. Taste has medium roast, light roasted coffee beans, berries and touch of sour notes. Easygoing light porter.
