Bottle, courtesy of rouhlas during EuroLocalSwap 2/2016. Fruity and flowery, mango and passion fruit. With a lot of residual sweetness next to a strong bitterness. Heavy body with a sweet finish. Rather typical, but also well done!

Malty, spicy taste with orange peel, apricots, oak wood and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Bottle from a supermarket in Thessaloniki, Greece. As Saturday’s Porter. Pours dark brown with small but lasting milky coffee colour head. Aroma is of chocolate, toasted malt, and cherry. Fairly high level of roasting giving it quite a high bitterness, with a medium sweetness. Light/medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Finish is long, with lasting toasted bitterness. Decent but lacks a bit of body and rather too fizzy.

Thanks to jinroh for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing honeyed amber and sparse white foam. The nose shows a very strong pronounced pine and pine resin forwardness. Wow, this is strong The palate shows a lot of the same pine flavors. Extremely clean and pronounced without any of the off flavors. Light maltiness on the mid-palate but the main focus is on those lovely pine flavors. Light bitterness on the finish. Moderately carbonated and medium bodied. This is a spectacular IPA.
