From tap at Café Brecht in Amsterdam 05.07.23 at an unplanned stop in Amsterdam on the way to joining the sailing yacht Baluba as all trains were cancelled because of a storm. Clear reddish golden. Diminishing white head. Fine aroma of pilsner malt, caramelly Münich malt and noble hops. Good and very drinkable.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a foamy head. Floral and slightly woody aroma with notes of caramel. Grassy, nutty and relatively hoppy taste with caramel and floral hops detected. Fairly bitter for the style.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a haze and a white head. Green tea, hop resins and some sweet and floral notes in the aroma. Green tea, bubblegum, hop resins, grass and herbs in the taste.

Kräftig orange Farbe. Fruchtnoten von Aprikose und Quitte in der Nase, etwas dezenter (und vergorener) im Geschmack. Florale Noten ergänzen. Minimal alkoholig ab dem Mittelteil. Dezent bitter, hopfig. Durchaus schmackhaft. Mundgefühl voll, weich, milchig.

33cl Fles bij Brecht, als Rittmayer Pils Bitter42. Iets mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Zacht, bloemig, licht moutig, floraal bitter, hint van bisongras, bittere finish. Lichte body, zacht mondgevoel.

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours clear copper with a dissipating white head. The aroma is quite sweet, intoxicating, sticky, sappy, oily, plenty of dried fruits, honeyed dates & figs, fruit cake, plum, black grape, bready malt, sponge cake, honey cake and some nuttiness. The taste is slick, oily, sappy, resinous, boozy heat, varnished wood, plenty of dried fruits, date, prune, dried fig, toasted fruit cake, candy, honey, touch of orange marmalade, touch of bitter toffee, leafy and herbal accents with a slick, oily finish. Pretty fulsome body and fine, prickly carbonation. Fairly heavy duty & sweet for the style, but had some nice depth of flavour. Decent.
