Cask at the Gordon Highlander, Inverurie. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, sappy, oily, bright grapefruit character, zingy, tangy, sherbet, pomelo, touch of toffee and pine. The taste is firmly, dry, punchy bitterness, bright citrus vibes, zingy, tangy, grapefruit, pink grapefruit, pomelo, bitter citrus peel, green, piney, peppery spice, dull toffee, bready malt base and a nip of alcohol. Finish is firmly bitter which lingers. Average body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Honestly I love his. £2.22 a pint is ludicrous. Moreish and fresh.

Clear pale gold with a small frothy white head and a sweetish bready aroma. Light to medium bodied, sweet cereal with fruity notes, a hint of spice perhaps and a dry bittersweet finish.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. Fifth of 7 festival beers tried on the night. Golden body, white crust. Light citrus feel to the nose and taste, piney notes arrive late, enjoyed it.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. Second of 7 festival beers tried on the night. It's amber in colour, off white head. Malty front with hedgerow berries and a dry marmalade finish, liked it.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A dark amber pour with a ring of translucent froth; aroma of dark berries; smooth, sweet and fruity in the mouth with blueberries and blackberries and caramel malts; then a satisfying chewy malt finish. A nice autumnal bitter.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas are slightly sulphurous, light lemon and biscuit. Taste is chalky and odd. Something chemical and bubblegum. Not sure if this was the brewers intention? Didn't finish it. Which for a £1.99 pint is saying something. Tick 10 I think from the fest.

Decent enough sweet malty bitter. Amber brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft aroma of fruit malt. Medium bodied and smooth with sweet fruit malt, a little kick of floral bitterness and a dry fruity finish.
