[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale amber pour with a thin white head; fruity aroma; taste of stone fruit and berries with a late spicy bitterness. Satisfying.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a tight white head; floral aroma; dry in the mouth with some oriental spice and a herbal bitterness; then lots of tea-like tannins in the finish. Not my kind of thing.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#13 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Fuller-bodied light floral and herbal tasting effort, with its aftertaste bringing out its ingredients in this respect. Hopped too. Clear light golden.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#12 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Golden with a creamy head. Session smooth texture, a little bland in its hoppy-fruitiness, especially in its dryish aftertaste.
