As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.

Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.

We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

8/1/2022. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is earthy, herbal, pine, orange, caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery texture, average carbonation.

Keg at Borefts Day 1 22/09/2017. A jet black coloured pout with a loose light tan head. Aroma is woody pine, brown sugars, soft woody roast. Flavour is composed of soft roast, chalky, pine tips, woody bark, liquoprice. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation, thin, Nod bad.

Panda thanks to Fergus: Poured a coppery carbonated with a large white head. Aroma is piney, earthy, herbal, medicinal, malt. Taste is hops, piney needles, toffee, smooth, malty.

Osaka it’s been ages! Weird Beer x Craftrock Acid Black Coffee Sour Coffee BIPA 5.5% Deep brown with ruby highlights that looks black in certain lightings the aroma is fruity coffee beer goodness. Medium bodied sour but fruity acidity up front then coffee and grounds in the finish. Interesting brew that actually kind of works.

Can at home picked up from WB online. A ckear golden orange coloured pour with a fading whiite head. Aroma is earthy pine, some tcp medicinal, sap, light toffee. Ok. Flavour is composed of base malts, little tcp, pine, tangerine, fizzym, chalk. Palate is fizzy, little abrasive, highish carbonation. fine.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with black rye bread, coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, pine needles, burnt sugar and hints of green peppercorns. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black bread, liquorice, black coffee, dark chocolate, brown sugar, blackpepper and a generous piney, citirc bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, sweet. A bit sweet, but really rich with a generous hop presence. Very nice.

Key Keg at thew Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Jet black colour with a tight tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet malty and liquorice. Smooth full body.
