Bottle shared at the Colin and the Vinings tasting. Pours hazy reddish orange with a small fraothy offwhite head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is slightly malty and tiny fruity with dark bread, biscuits, freshly cut grass, honey, pine needles, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, lemon hard candy and peaches. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter and slightly fruity with biscuits, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, red apples, lemon zest, orange zest, passionfruit, peaches and soil. Mouthfeel is soft, round and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and tiny fruity with toasted cereal, biscuits, grapefruit rinds, unripe tropical fruits, apple skins, grass, pine and soil. Simple yet quite good...

Cask during Craft 100 at CBC Clapham, London. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Super solid, sessionable golden ale. Lots of nice citrus character, some straw, pale bread, touches of lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish. Very refreshing. Classically-styled golden ale.

Bardzo bardzo dobre sesyjne ale. Piana gigantyczna zbita aromat pomaranczy i innych cytrusow. W smau dosc tresciwe, subtelne zarazem. Smaczne i po prostu pyszne. Swietne do salatki. Niesamowicie metne piwo. Calkowicie zabarwione na pomarancz. Polecam ten babowy chmielny aromat wszystkim

Bottle at home in London - picked up in London. Pours deep, black-brown with a large, thick, lasting beige cream head. Great aroma, lots of burnt pine, dark chocolate, great roast. Light sweet flavor with nice overriding dark roast character, some burnt sugars, a bit of piney bitterness, subtle milk chocolate. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with moderate sweetness, earthy and burnt pine bitterness, cocoa, grapefruit. Extremely solid. Smacks of beer much stronger than it is. This is like a black IPA-lite. Well executed.
