Keg at Brewdog Camden, London. A black coloured pour with virtually no head to speak of. Hoppy, roasty, pine aroma. Tastes similar, slightly hoppy, roasty, pine, some citrus fruit with a bitter ending. Pretty good but I was expecting something much better.

Cask handpull at The White Horse Parsons Green. Belgian yeast aroma a lot of toffee. Sweet from the barrel bitter from the hops. Bloody gorgeous. Lovely sweet bitter citrus Belgian beer. Ridiculous

Keg at Brewdog Camden . hazed bright orange coloured pour with small white foam head. Aroma is nice tropical fruits with lychee and orange. Some spicy notes and a touch of tiqyilla hot alcohol. Flavour follows on, spicy orange coconut and lychee. Some warming alcohol. Some sorachi ace like flavours in there as well. MedIum sweet palate with some hop resin stickyness. Finish I’d nice and dry. Barrel character is well done , just a hint of oak and tiquilla.

Draft at BrewDog Camden - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a light, foamy white head. Loads of ripe fruits in the nose, lots of orange, some berries. Medium to big sweet flavor with more ripe fruits, mango, orange, papaya, mild bread and alcohol, hints of piney bitterness. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming and lightly resinous to finish with further ripe tropical fruits, dry and somewhat grainy bread, bitter pine. Quite hefty. Not especially graceful or nuanced:

Keg at BrewDog Camden - London. Pours mostly clear, yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds dry, pale wood, some lemon peel, a bit pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with pronounced barrel character, touches of Belgian phenols, ripe lemon, alcohol, pizza crust. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with olenty of booze-soaked citrus fruits, subtle woody dryness, mild Belgian character. Not bad.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras, drunk at home. Hazy orange amber colour lasting beige head. Some soap. Some hops. Malts are ok but not really going anywhere. Wheat gives the head an amazing longevity. Touch of perfumed soap. Some bitterness on the finish. OK, but I expect more from this brewery. Decent hops though.

Many thanks to Weird Beard for sending me TWO replacement bottles to make up for the one below! This has medium carbonation with a fresh pine fruitiness and crisp bitterness. Some tropical elements emerging more than the orange before but it’s a good hop balance and great bitter finish. Thanks guys. 330ml bottle from Beermoth. Flat as a pancake :( Looks like Cheddar Valley cider in the glass, orange and still, with a sweet aroma and peach melba yoghurt taste. Hm.. next.
