Bottle – Poured a pale ale with limited head. Almost no aroma. Body is extra light with standard carbonation. Taste is very light, a bit of malts but mostly water. No worth drinking unless you really like beer and intend on following an intense diet.

I went into this one with rather low expectations and those low expectations were met +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a clear light golden color with a small fluffy white head that quickly fades. The aroma is of your standard industrial brew. There is a very mild tangy and corny flavor that is surprisingly smooth for being 7.3% alcohol. Short finish. Medium body.

Molson XXX is one of those beers that I always heard my non beer-afficionado friends talk about having to sneak into the US because it was so crazy potent. Kind of funny considering 7.3% really isn't that high compared to other (better) beers that have been available all along. So now we have Molson XXX available at every grocery store. Cause for celebration? Not really. The beer is a clear light orange color with a minimal white head, and no real lacing to speak of. Light malt aroma. Medium body, and the flavor seems more like a standard Lager than Malt Liquor. Very boring mmalt/hops combination, with a hint of alcohol. The finish is bubbly without a lot of flavor. Pass.

This isn't a beer to drink for the taste. Never could I imagine thinking, "Hot damn, boy I could go for a Molson Golden." Nope, not gonna happen. However, I show up to your house, and you hand me a Molson, I'll say, "Thanks," and not ridicule you for having this, and only this in that fridge filled with leftovers and cups of fat that you have been saving in case you need it. Anyway. Kinda boring and/or average for the most part. Average, that is, for a "beer," since so many people think beer looks the same going in as it does coming out. But it does not impress me, no no. Can't get me to say it looks good when it looks like any other mainstream brew. Smell... BEER. Taste: BEER AGAIN, nothing new here. This taste is as old as the oldest surviving fossil remains of a third century chimpanzee. Drink it, don't drink it, I don't care. Like I said, if you have one in your fridge, and hand it to me, I will gladly accept it. But I'll take a peek in behind you to see if you have anything good (you don't, big surprise).

Paid $1.50 for a 12-oz single. (The beer store didn't have much of a singles selection). Clear golden with a nie head. The head's soft, and receeds to about an inch. Strong wheat and beer-tent smelling. Nothing special or new here, but also not awful. A slight bittersweet grassy taste. The alcohol is pretty well masked, though there are hints of it in the aftertaste. Surprisingly, this isn't THAT bad. It's not GOOD, but it's better than I expected. Kinda thin in the mouth. I bought this beer because I wanted to sample a few new beers. Well, my old beer store was running short on a LOT today. This was one of three singles I was able to snatch up that I hadn't tried (and the other two were ciders, rather than beer).

I concur with the Flu. The nose is hoppy for a Molson product, very czech saaz like. The hops are also percieved in the mouth, with cooky malt, anda light sweetness...this could pass for a micro or a euro!

Slightly pale golden hue with a off white head. Very small scent of malt, mostly hops. The taste starts off surprizingly smooth with a somewhat balanced flavour of malt and hops but ends quick to a watery, cleaning solution, generic, commercial beer. Definately not the worst beer I have ever tasted. Sure as hell not the best.

This beer lies where the screw off tops end and pop offs begin. Mega swill nonetheless but as good as you'll find in the QuickyMart.

Straw colour. Cidery aroma and a lot of high alcohols. Palate is fractionally cleaner, but still with off-flavours. Finishes watery. Canadian version rated.

Nice looking but notinh else. Musty nose. Very antiseptic flavor ending in a horrible cigar butt dirty finish. Possibly one of the worst 3 ever
