Slightly pale golden hue with a off white head. Very small scent of malt, mostly hops. The taste starts off surprizingly smooth with a somewhat balanced flavour of malt and hops but ends quick to a watery, cleaning solution, generic, commercial beer. Definately not the worst beer I have ever tasted. Sure as hell not the best.

This beer lies where the screw off tops end and pop offs begin. Mega swill nonetheless but as good as you'll find in the QuickyMart.

Straw colour. Cidery aroma and a lot of high alcohols. Palate is fractionally cleaner, but still with off-flavours. Finishes watery. Canadian version rated.

Nice looking but notinh else. Musty nose. Very antiseptic flavor ending in a horrible cigar butt dirty finish. Possibly one of the worst 3 ever

Dark reddish gold. Like a rich rich amber. Decent amount of white head. Aroma has lots of alcohol, lots of malt (slightly cereal grainy), typical light nail polish remover flavor right away, but the alcohol kicks in and sours it out some and the finish provides a medium sweet, medium acidic malt kick that is a little more flavorful. Cant tell if there is some hops in the body or if that is just some grainy alcohol mix. Quite full bodied at least, cant call this watery. Peppery carbonated texture at first, but after sitting the beer gets better and smooths out, I can even detect a little bit of ripe orange fruit esters. Though this style is inherently flawed (as are american adjunct-laden lagers), this is one of the better malt liquors I’ve had.

Pours a reddish amber, very clear with some light beige head. Smells dry and sour, with some slightly hoppy notes. Begins very sour and strong, and then sweetens out quite a bit. Taste quickly goes stale and skunky and leaves a very weird skunked/alcohol taste. Typical standard ice beer.

I was really excited to find this at Maxwell’s Plum in Halifax. A Newfoundland classic! Golden colour. Light, but slightly malty, grainy aroma. Slightly petrol-like notes in the palate, with vague leafy notes. A little thicker than your average macro but still a macro. I really wanted to like it, but like cod lips, seal flippers and other Newfoundland delicacies I really couldn’t get into it that much.

No head wathsoever when pourred into glass (I guess this too pelased Mr and Mrs everybody...). This is the usual macro brewed beer that is very light and designed for those hot summer days...

The aroma is sweet and malty. The color is yellow and it has no head. The flavor is sweet and simple. It is not a bad beer - it is just too simple too be anything for beer enthusiasts.

Was hoping with this one. Maybe a decent blonde ale from North America. Nope. Bittersweet with too much carbonation, and had a sour, albeit flavorless taste. Has a weird sharp/spicy bite to it, that gave me little reason to finish the bottle.
