Tap: Poured alight yellow color ale with a small head with no retention. Aroma is quite weak with some malt being discernable. Taste is very smooth with no aftertaste (almost no hops) and watery feeling at the end. While it is in no way good it is not as worst as some other macro beer out there and this one probably benefited from the CO2 from the tap.

2005 bottle shared with bucknaked, 4/28/2005. Amber-auburn, clear body with a medium amount of off-white head that recedes fairly quickly to a ring. Smells like rotten red apples dipped in 2 month-old caramel dipping sauce that has sat out and then been microwaved. Or something like that. . .Tastes of cardboard, dry, stale breadiness, stale caramel additives, acrid paperiness. Light body.

You can really taste the libera use of Pacific Northwest hops in this. . .wow, is that a fucking joke or what. Extremely fizzy, no head, clear yellow color. Smells of corn, stale popcorn. Tastes of paper, fully attenuated, so at least it’s not sickly sweet. Somewhat stale veggies. Highly overcarbonated.

2005 "can" sampled with bucknaked 4/28/2005. Smells sweet and spicy. Candy, orange peel, corn. Tastes of sour corn, corn syrup, lots of cardboard, bland and overcarbonated on the finish, light body. Pale yellow color, fizzy white head.

Bottle: Poor fizzy yellow lager with no taste or aroma except for the usual macro corn syrup. Cannot believe that this is the best selling beer in the UK since 1971!

Bland golden colour. Tastes like mineral water...not much guarana or anything else. Empty, baking soda notes. Huh? What was the point again? Oh yeah, to make people more awake when drunk so they think they are okay to drive. Repugnant both in flavour and morality.

Bottle: Poured a light yellowish color beer with no aroma and almost no taste. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Molson Export, I still think that these are two completely different beers and that this one is plainly bad. Another gem from my father in law beer cooler.

Golden colour. Neutral character. OK, even using the word character for a beer like this is unnecessary. Hint of bread and more than a hint of peppery alcohol. Better than it deserves to be, but not good.

One of the lazier gimmicks I’ve ever seen, and one of the most repugnant. The bullseye on the bottom of the can and the name rather make it obvious what the motive for this beer is, and yet the government either missed this rather obvious fact, or doesn’t care. Bland, slightly grainy. Assy.
