Bomber from Charleston Beer Exchange. HUGE burst of carbonation as the bottle was opened but it didn’t gush. Pours a very dark brown, nearly black, with a large frothy tan head. Average head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, floral notes, faint toastiness and rye. The taste is chocolate and roasted malts, rye, nutty notes and a mildly hoppy finish. Thin-medium bodied, very dry and VERY highly carbonated. I think this would be much better without so much carbonation.

Can from BA Gustav, Malmö. Enormous frotty head and cloudy liquid. Big fresh fruithy aroma of pineapple, mango and citrus fruit. Rather dry and with a nice tropical fruityness lingering above the bitter grassy base.

Bottle. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of dark grains, chocolate and cinnamon with a bit of backing pepper bite. Flavor begins with dark chocolate and roasted malts with a good amount of pepper that grows through the finish with a hint of cinnamon.
