Description
Raw Brewing Company was created from a passion for real ale and an idea that became reality. After several years of enjoying real ale David decided to have a go himself as a hobby to see if he could produce quality real ale. After several months it was clear that the product was good with the assistance from an army of tasters! It was time then to turn this passion and idea into reality Raw Brewing Company was born.
First brewed 14th May 2010. Following financial issues, the brewery was taken over by Silver Brewhouse who still brew their brands. From circa 2021 some Raw beers were released as Silver Brewhouse beers, and the Raw brand was discontinued.

Cask at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly grassy, with notes of lemon peel, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with dry, pale malts, further grassy bitterness, pale grains, citrus rind. Not bad on the whole.

Cask @ Devonshire Cat, Sheffield [031016]
Black, ruby edges, dense creamy off white head, light lacing
Aroma of soft roasted malts, light coffee notes, leafy hops
Taste - Dark malts, soft roast, dab of leafy bitter hops, soft dark fruits. Gets more roasty bitter with the drinking.
Palate - Medium body, smooth, touch sweet offset by bitter hops. Finish of smooth soft malts, bitter hops, some soft burnt roast, cleans off palate
Overall - Decent stout

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is orange peel, straw, bread dough, grains. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, toasted malts, grains, lemon rind. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Average stuff ... lacks hop presence ... low end for style.
