Description
Raw Brewing Company was created from a passion for real ale and an idea that became reality. After several years of enjoying real ale David decided to have a go himself as a hobby to see if he could produce quality real ale. After several months it was clear that the product was good with the assistance from an army of tasters! It was time then to turn this passion and idea into reality Raw Brewing Company was born.

First brewed 14th May 2010. Following financial issues, the brewery was taken over by Silver Brewhouse who still brew their brands. From circa 2021 some Raw beers were released as Silver Brewhouse beers, and the Raw brand was discontinued.

Bottle. Clear amber. Barely a head. Nose has herbal tea. Chamomile. Some lemon. Taste is light, spicy dry. Minimal bitterness. Thin body. Light, herbal finish. Not for me.

Bottle at the Sentinel, Sheffield. Poured a clear medium brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is floral hop, alcohol. The flavour is floral medicinal with a smooth rich warm orange aniseed floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. An acquired taste.
