Cask at the Jolly Butchers on 22 June 2010. Gold with thick white head, intensely hippy kick, but notable sour notes are present initially - touch of apple. This gradually dies down to leave a crisp quite refreshing aftertaste on a smooth to light mouthfeel. Will re-rate this beer on next tasting.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of soy sauce, alcohol, roasted malt, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, wood, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted, and woody finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 22 May 2010) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, lemon peel, grass and fresh hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, grass and lots of fresh, floral hops in the finish. More focus on aroma than on bitterness. Below medium body, balanced sweetness. Highly drinkable with a fresh hop profile.

Bottle from Drink of Fulham. Had just a mere shot of this as the rest was used to make bread! Anyway, dark brown pour with a tan head. Aromas of wood, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, raisins. Strong coffee tones with aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, butterscotch. Malty and hoppy on the palate. Dry, sweet and bitter finish. Tasty.
