Cask-conditioned at the Old Fountain, Old Street 11/02/10. Hazy amber with a slight white head. Slightly sweet, fruity aroma with a suggestion of honey. Flavour was much the same with plenty of bitterness and the honey becoming evident in the aftertaste. Forgettable.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. This I thought was excellent. Black, lovely roasted choc. REally good, doesn’t taste of the ABV. Really good malts, made me melt. Excellent.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Fairly intense black impy stout. Lots of bitter roastedness, lacks a bit of fullness. Carbonation makes the flavours a bit tight. Decent bitter choc. Chemical glue aroma. Lovelyish.
