0.5L bottle. Nice clear amber color with creamy tan head. Aroma of caramel malts, molasses, dark fruit and honey. Really nice malty flavor. Sweet roasted caramel malts, molasses, slight fruitiness and ending with a swirl of toffee. Enjoyable brew.

0.5L bottle. Deep golden color with off white head. Very light aroma of floral, citrus and maybe pine hops. Nice flavor from floral, citrus and pine hops along with lightly roasted and biscuit type malts. For an English hoppy ale it isn’t too bad. Flavors paint an interesting picture.

Bottled, Sainsburys, Banbury 03-11-06. One of the better Christmas beers that I’ve had thus far this year. Poured nice Reddy/Brown in fact more red than brown, aroma was of christmas spices, with some faint cocoa and brown sugar aromas, taste most unlike any Wychwood that I’ve ever had before, good spiceiness with cinnamon and nutmeg, and balanced out with some some soft caramel flavours and a more subtle bitterness than I expected. Very nice indeed.

Tap at Barley’s in OP, KS. Malt and bitter. Very much an English bitter. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it was served a bit fresher. I got the sense this had been on tap for awhile.

Cask conditioned, gravity dispense at Merton Beer Festival 2006. Light golden in colour, citrusy nose, with a clean and crisp refreshing citrusy taste and nice bite to it. Very good beer. Also had this in Hobgoblin Cowley Road on frequent occasions this summer.

AKA Scarecrow. Bottle. Light golden ale with a thin white head. Light malt aroma with chalky notes. In mouth, a rather bland herbal biscuitty malt, with no ale qualities, attempt to make a lager. Medium bodied. The Real Beer Expo - Rochester, NY, Oct. 21, 2006.

Bottle: poured a deep coppery brown colour with a thick beige head which fell back leaving a still but glossily attractive pint. Sweet malty aroma, and a rounded malt taste, the hops are not intrusive, and the finish sweet but strong.
