A red beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit especially peach as well as yeast. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of peach and a dry hoppy end.

(500 ml bottle.) Beautiful copper colour, nice thick head. Aroma and flavour of cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and toffee. Christmas cake notes in the flavour, some hoppy bitterness. Relatively light bodied despite the "Christmasy" elements, doesn’t taste like 6% ABV. I’m not too fond of the strong sweetish vanilla notes in the aroma, but this is a pleasant enough Christmas seasonal to drink. Wouldn’t care much for this as an all year beer, though - but it isn’t. Cool label! Cheerio, Sophie me’ lass!

Bottle. rish amber color with a big frothy off-white head. Slightly skunked aroma. Cardboard flavor with a bit of a buttery biterness. Watery flavor. Nothing to need to remember.

Bottled, Labelled Usher’s Founder’s English Ale (4.7%). Copper colour, dense, firm head. Fuggley hay aroma. Dry, but thin and almost sharp. A hint of metal and stale hops. This is not what it used to taste like.

I have never had anything by this brewer before. I tried this one on draft at Pipers Pub in Pittsburgh. It poured a very dark red-brown color with a large tan head that lingered and left great lacing. . The aroma was sweet and hoppy with a bit of citrus noted and touches of pepper and toasted caramel. The flavor was fruity (apple and citrus), tart, and had a hint of spice and sour caramel. Medium finish and body. Solid.

It’s Bah Humbug!
Dark copper brown with small creamy tanned head. Nose is spicey, hoppy but also sweet - almost a bit Belgium character. Medium-bodied bitter, slightly spicey (cinnamon) but it does not ruin it. Some toffee notes and hopped aftertaste. Excellent session beer.

Clear orange-red body, thin/medium buff-colored head. Leafy hops aroma with tobacco leaf notes, brown sugar, fig, and pastry. The flavor resembles a red wine with plenty of tannins (teabags), cigar smoke, chocolate, brown sugar, grapes, raisin/tobacco and spicy/perfumey hops. Perhaps a bit sweeter than it should be (bordering on cloying). Still a solid brew.

Cask at Mannings, Ipswich. Deep amber colour, pleasant aroma of red fruits. Flavour is malty and fruity with pronounced blackcurrants and blackberries. Dusty finish. Interesting beer!
